A peel is the application of an acid solution to the skin in order to remove one or more layers of skin (Skintech photos of skin layers). The new skin thus exposed appears refreshed and softer. The complexion is improved and the color evened out.
A technique that adapts to your skin's needs
Peels are most often performed on the face, but they can also be performed on the body (hands, neckline, arms, legs).
The depth reached by the peel varies according to the color of your skin and the problem to be treated.
We offer peels :
- Superficial alpha-hydroxy acid (AHA) peelings,
- Medium trichloroacetic acid (TCA) peelings, possibly combined with tranexamic acid,
- Deep phenol peelings (with social downtime).
Superficial peels and medium peels with TCA (complexion improvement, blemishes, acne) are possible all year round on all skin types, whereas deep peels (marked wrinkles, acne scars) are reserved for the winter period and for light skin (phototype IV max).
