Drooping eyelids are the result of aging of the skin and underlying tissues. Natural aging can be accelerated by hereditary factors, sleep disorders, stress, certain skin conditions and sun exposure. 

This sagging of the upper eyelid is essentially aesthetic, but can even impair vision when it is too severe. 

The treatment is medical blepharoplasty or even surgery if the excess skin is too important. Medical blepharoplasty is performed in the office, under local anesthesia, using a plasma pen.
