Acne

Acne is a skin disease that most often affects young people. It requires a therapeutic management adapted to its extent, its evolution, its gravity, the sex and the age of the patient.

Acne is a disease of the pilosebaceous follicle. It usually begins at puberty with hyperseborrhea (the skin becomes oily), followed by the appearance of comedones or "blackheads".

Microcysts are "closed" comedones containing sebum, keratin, and bacteria. Inflammatory phenomena can occur, with the appearance of papules and pustules, which can in some cases develop into an abscess.

The use of peels as an adjuvant therapeutic means can be very useful for certain forms of acne or to improve the appearance of scars when the disease has stopped evolving. Depending on the stage of the year, a superficial or medium peel will be proposed, associated with adapted cosmetics.
